Worked exquisitely on to a black satin base are peach blossoms, chrysanthemum and other flowers in three tones of blue andother polychrome silk threads. The walls of the boot section are separated from that of the shoe and face with embroidered bands of border patterns while the cylindrical heel adds a touch of charm. (XY)
