Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368 A.D.)
L60cm, W110cm
This gold lampas is a fragment from a loose sleeve robe for a female. The shape of the collar is discernible. The pattern design features two rows of teardrop roundels on a ground of hexagons having a quarto-petal floral motif in the center. One row of the roundels has a rabbit inside each drop while the other has flowers instead. Both motifs are among the most popular during the Yuan dynasty. (ZF)
