Clamp-resist dyeing refers to the technique to clamp the fabric up with two blocks of carved boards having registered patterns in relief and dipping the assembly into a dye. Simple petite floral medallion is applied by this piece with blue inside and orange on exterior flowers, but the colors have seriously faded.
