The drinkers depicted inside pearl roundels are typical foreigners with deep eyes and protruding nose, dressed in long robes with narrow sleeves, long boots and belts. The horn-like winecup they hold also originated from the west, known by the Greeks as “Rhyton”, which was spread to Asia later.
