Different patterns are decorated inside the confronting wave framework, namely (from the left to the right): camel puller, crouching lion, elephant and Buddhist statue. All patterns are mirror-symmetric, with a pair of upward and downward images in each framework. The character “胡” (meaning foreign) accompany the camel puller probably indicates the depiction of foreign merchants on the Silk Road.
