This exhibition, with works rooted in traditional Chinese culture and combined with the current global culture, aims to present the community of Chinese fashion design and the development of their creative ideas on the whole. The selected garments reflect the relationship between Chinese fashion design and the era, and its independent place under the globalization context.

It is a hot issue in contemporary fashion design to keep a certain individuality in the midst of globalization. Up to now, Chinese contemporary fashion design has grown from the stage of learning, absorbing and copying to astage of integration, introspection and creating. This exhibition will explorethe development process of Chinese fashion industry from 1993 to now.

This exhibition intends to collect and display about 100 pieces of fashion works from over the past 20 years, which may represent and reflect the overall standard of Chinese fashion design, and make a review of the transformation from "Made in China" to "Chinese design."
