The exhibitioncan be divided into three parts. The first part will focus on archaeologicaldiscoveries of silk in Dunhuang, mainly in the form of pictures and texts tointroduce the contributions that archaeologists from Dunhuang Academy have made,such as the archaeological discoveries in 1960s and 1980s. The second part isaiming to display the protection and conservation achievements of silk unearthedfrom Mogao Grottoes, including 62 pieces of fabric relics of the NorthernDynasties, Tang Dynasty, and Yuan Dynasty, highlighting the work that ChinaNational Silk Museum and Dunhuang Academy have done. The third part is aboutDunhuang silk collected in other countries, such as Britain, India, Russia,Japan, etc., and related research achievements and experience.
