NSM participated in the exhibition in Hong Kong (2017-06-12)

Exhibition "Root and Soul, Memorizing Regions Southof the Yangtze River: Intangible Cultural Heritage in Zhejiang Province" was a cultural exchange program promoted by Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China. The exhibition opened On June 6th in Hong Kong Central Library.58 intangible cultural heritage programs and 112 related works were displayed.

At the same time, 63 intangible cultural heritage inheritorsparticipated in the exhibition, showing the craftsmanship. As the representative of National Silk Museum, Researcher Luo Qun and Craftsman Yu Youde displayed how to operate Hangzhou Luo Gauze Loom, which attracted a number of visitors.

During the exhibition, Xue Yan, Researcher of National Silk Museum, gave a lecture the Skill andInheritance of Chinese Embroidery on June 10th, the first Cultural and Natural Heritage Day in China.
